Hillier Teal

Kingswood FabricJ0126-04

Hillier Teal shows a cool, washed teal ground with a fine pale pattern sitting inside the lozenge-shaped repeat. The overall effect is airy and orderly, with the motifs reading clearly against the softly textured base.

About this fabric

Hillier Teal from the Kingswood collection by Jane Churchill is composed of 44% cotton, 40% linen and 16% polyester, with an approximate width of 130cm and a repeat of V 20cm / H 16cm. The cloth has a crisp woven handle visible in the image, giving the surface a slightly textured, tailored feel rather than a heavy pile. In this colourway, the teal reads muted and cool, with a soft minty cast that keeps the geometric pattern light and refined. The pale detailing inside each repeated shape adds contrast without harshness, so the design feels decorative but calm. With Q 8 + T 3 care coding and √BM fire performance noted, it is a practical decorative fabric for interiors.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a compact armchair, dining seats or roman blinds where the small-scale repeat can be appreciated. Its pale teal tone works especially well with chalky whites, driftwood woods and other cool neutrals.

A crisp, fresh teal that suits tailored upholstery or quietly elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
