Alaska Teal

Alaska Collection FabricALASKA

Alaska Teal is a smooth plain in a muted deep teal, with a cool, slightly smoky finish that reads quietly sophisticated. The surface appears finely textured rather than glossy, giving the colour a soft depth across the swatch.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Alaska Teal is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 45,000 Severe Contract rub test that supports demanding interior use. The fabric is 146cm wide and has a substantial handle at 438 grams per linear metre, or 300 grams per square metre. Visually, this colourway sits in a restrained blue-green range, with a low-sheen finish that softens the tone and stops it from feeling bright. The plain weave and even surface make the shade feel clean and contemporary, while the cooler teal cast gives it more depth than a flat green.

How to use it

Use Alaska Teal on tailored upholstery, banquettes, or structured curtains where you want a composed colour with enough presence to anchor the room. It works especially well with pale timber, stone, and warm brass for contrast.

Pair with oak, charcoal, or warm metallics for a calm tailored look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
