Alaska Silver

Alaska Collection FabricALASKA

Alaska Silver is a quietly polished plain with a cool silver-grey surface and a smooth, softly matte look. The colour reads calm and contemporary, with just enough depth to avoid looking flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Alaska Silver is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 45,000 severe contract rub test that supports demanding use. The fabric measures 146cm wide and has a substantial handle at 438gsm, giving it a dependable mid-weight presence. In this colourway, the shade is a clean, misty silver grey rather than a bright metallic, with a gentle tonal variation that softens the surface. Its plain style and even finish make the fabric feel restrained and versatile, ideal when you want a smart neutral without pattern.

How to use it

Use Alaska Silver on tailored seating, window dressings or upholstered headboards where a cool grey ground will sharpen timber, black accents or glass. It also layers well with chalky whites and deeper charcoal tones for a crisp, modern scheme.

A cool, understated silver that works neatly across contemporary upholstery and drapery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
