About this fabric

This Larsen fabric from the Newman collection has a subtle woven look that suits both curtains and upholstery, with a repeat of approximately V 52cm and H 48cm and a width of 144cm. The composition of 38% Polyester, 33% Polyamide, 21% Wool and 8% Viscose gives the cloth a lightly tailored handle that sits well in a versatile interior scheme. In this Silver colourway, the damask sits close to the ground tone, creating a misty, low-contrast finish rather than a bold decorative statement. The surface reads as soft grey with faint pewter depth, so the pattern appears calm and refined from a distance and more textured up close.

How to use it

Use Hankin Silver where you want a restrained pattern with enough presence to lift plain paintwork or timber. Its cool grey tone works especially well with chalk white, pale oak and deeper graphite accents.

A cool silver-grey damask that brings quiet structure to polished interiors.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hankin Silver without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
