About this fabric
This colourway has a calm smoke-grey base with pale silver highlights that catch the light across the weave, creating a lightly clouded finish. As part of the Carrera collection, it is a plain design with 39 colourways, here presented in a restrained neutral that feels cooler than beige and softer than charcoal. The fabric is 100% polyester and designed for contract use, with a high 80,000 Martindale rating for demanding schemes. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and after care can be professional clean in situ or washed at 40℃, subject to the pattern book instructions.
How to use it
Use Carrera Smoke on banquettes, occasional chairs or headboards where a smart grey tone is needed without visual heaviness. Its cool, polished neutrality works especially well with black metal, pale oak and crisp white upholstery trimmings.
