About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted slate blue with a hint of grey, so the surface feels calm and architectural rather than bright. The visible weave adds a lightly slubbed, textural character that catches the light in soft horizontal striations. Made from 100% polyester, Carrera is specified for contract use and carries an impressive 80,000 Martindale, making it well suited to demanding seating schemes. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request, and can be professionally cleaned in situ or washed at 40℃. The overall effect is smart and versatile, with enough depth to hold up well in busy interiors.

How to use it

Use Carrera Slate on banquettes, dining chairs or feature armchairs where a cool blue-grey will sharpen timber, stone and chrome. It also works well alongside chalky neutrals and deeper navy accents for a restrained contract palette.
