About this fabric

This plain from the Camden collection is woven in 100% polyester and specified for heavy domestic use, with a 40,000 Martindale result and a back-coated fire treatment to BS5852 cigarette & match. In the swatch, the blue sits extremely dark and cool, hovering between ink and midnight navy, so the surface texture becomes visible only in the lighter flecks that catch across the weave. The finish looks compact and resilient, which suits upholstery especially well on sofas, armchairs and benches. Professional dry clean in situ is advised, with further care details to follow the pattern book.

How to use it

Use this indigo tone to anchor a scheme with pale oak, chalk white or brushed metal, where the dark cloth adds depth without looking harsh. It also works well as a contrast against warmer neutrals and tan leather.
