About this fabric

This plain from the Carrera collection has a visibly tactile surface, with fine tonal variation that gives the Petrol colourway a layered, softly weathered look. Made from 100% polyester and specified for contract use, it is designed to stand up to demanding interiors, while the 80,000 Martindale result underlines its hard-wearing suitability. The fabric is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and other treatments are available on request. It can be professionally cleaned in situ or washed at 40℃, making it practical as well as visually distinctive. In this colourway, the blue-green base feels cool and slightly metallic, with lighter flecks catching the light across the surface.

How to use it

Use Carrera Petrol on an armchair, banquette or acoustic panel where its cool depth can add polish without overwhelming the room. It pairs especially well with walnut, brushed brass and pale stone for a clean, contemporary scheme.
