About this fabric

From the Camden collection by J Brown, this plain fabric is woven in 100% polyester and specified for heavy domestic use. Its 40,000 Martindale rating supports that upholstery-led brief, while the back coating to cigarette & match to BS5852 adds another practical layer. Visually, the colourway is a very dark indigo blue with restrained grey undertones, so it feels deeper and cooler than a brighter navy. The surface has a fine, slightly mottled texture that softens the solid colour and gives the cloth a more refined, lived-in depth.

How to use it

Use Camden Indigo Blue on a sofa, armchair or banquette where you want a dark, elegant anchor colour rather than a flat black. It pairs especially well with pale wood, brushed metal and warm neutrals, which help the blue undertone come through.
