Inca Fabric

Inca Indigo brings a strong, graphic lattice pattern to a deep indigo ground. The pale contrast lines give the design clear definition and a crisp, tailored feel.

About this fabric

This fabric from Linwood’s Inca collection is a contract and general domestic cloth with a substantial 100000 Martindale rub test, making it well suited to fixed upholstery as well as curtains. The visible surface reads as a matte, velvety-looking blue with a cool, slightly inky depth, while the cream-blue chevron lines sharpen the diamond motif across the cloth. Its 137cm width and approx 46.5cm vertical repeat make the pattern easy to plan on larger pieces, and the Eco SR finish adds a practical stain-resistant element. Composition is 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, giving the fabric a stable, workhorse character with a refined finish.

How to use it

Use Inca Indigo on a statement armchair, dining chairs or bench seating where the bold pattern can anchor the room. It also works with pale linen, oak and brushed brass, letting the deep blue tone feel smart rather than heavy.

Pairs well with warm woods and crisp neutrals for a tailored, modern look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
