Loxley Bluestone

Loxley Fabric

Loxley Bluestone has a softly mottled blue surface with a woven, lightly slubbed texture that reads cool and refined. The tiny basket-like structure gives the colour a calm depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

Woven in a semi-plain construction, Loxley Bluestone combines 38% viscose, 38% cotton, 18% linen and 6% polyester for a textured, upholstery-ready handle. The 137cm width and 30,000 Martindale rub test make it suitable for both contract and general domestic fixed upholstery. Its blue tone sits between powder and stone, with pale yarns lifting the surface and denser threads giving it a speckled, understated movement. The fabric is dry clean only and carries an A FR rating to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1.

How to use it

Use this bluestone shade on a neat sofa, ottoman or window seat where its cool tone can sit alongside oak, chalk white or pale grey. It works especially well in rooms that need a tailored blue without the brightness of a clearer sky shade.

A cool bluestone weave that brings quiet structure to seating and tailored accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
