About this fabric
Woven in 100% linen, this fabric is supplied at 137cm wide and is specified for fixed upholstery, with a 30,000 Martindale rub test for general domestic use. The pattern repeat is approximately 38cm in a half-drop, which suits the balanced, scrolling damask seen here. In this colourway, the blue reads cool and misty rather than bright, while the ivory motif softens the overall effect and keeps the design light. The small golden outline adds just enough definition to lift the pattern without making it feel heavy. It is FR rated to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and can be machine washed at 30C with allowance for 3% shrinkage, or dry cleaned.
How to use it
Use Hinako Air to brighten a bedroom armchair, window seat or ottoman, especially alongside chalk white, pale oak or brushed brass. Its cool aqua tone works well in fresh coastal schemes and in smart classic rooms that need a lighter decorative note.
Best on a neat occasional chair or bench where the pale aqua ground can keep a room feeling light.
