About this fabric

This colourway has an airy pool-blue tone with a gentle grey-green undertone, so it feels fresh rather than bright. As a velvet in the Omega IV collection, it has a soft pile and a subtle directional sheen that deepens slightly where the light falls away. The fabric is specified for curtains, loose cover upholstery and fixed upholstery, with a strong 100,000 Martindale rub test and an A fire rating to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1. At 137cm wide and made from 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, it is a practical contract-grade choice with a polished look.

How to use it

Use Pool on a tailored sofa or a fully upholstered headboard to bring a cool, spa-like note into the room. It also works beautifully as full-length curtains where the soft sheen can lift pale woods, white paintwork and brushed metal finishes.
