Omega Velvet 4 Pitaya

Omega Velvet 4 Velvet022

Omega Velvet 4 Pitaya is a deep, saturated velvet with a rich plum-fuchsia cast that reads luxurious and moody in the pile. The surface catches the light softly, giving the colour extra depth without losing its velvety finish.

About this fabric

This plain velvet has a smooth, dense appearance with the plush nap that gives the shade its colour-shifting depth. In Pitaya, the tone sits between berry pink and dark plum, so it feels bold rather than sugary and looks especially rich where the light lifts the pile. It is composed of 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, and has a hard-wearing 100,000 Martindale rub test, making it suitable for contract and general domestic upholstery. The fabric is also specified for curtains, loose covers and fixed upholstery, with an approximate width of 137cm and a plain pattern repeat.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, banquette or headboard to bring a deep jewel-tone accent into the room. It pairs well with warm neutrals, smoked wood and brass for a more dramatic, tailored look.

Rich and dramatic, this velvet suits statement seating and tailored soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
