About this fabric

This colourway has a fine, closely woven appearance that gives it a calm, matte look rather than a glossy one. The 40% cotton, 40% viscose and 20% linen composition supports that natural, lightly slubbed character, while the plain repeat keeps the surface visually restful. At approximately 134cm wide, Ella Figue is a practical cloth for schemes that want colour without a strong pattern interruption. The fig tone feels warm and subdued, with enough depth to add richness but not so much saturation that it dominates a room.

How to use it

Use Ella Figue on a tailored armchair, banquette or full-length curtain where its muted plum-rose tone can soften pale walls. It pairs especially well with warm oak, aged brass and chalky neutrals.

A softly tonal fig mauve that brings quiet depth to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
