Sansha Lilas
Jalore FabricM4177-02
Sansha Lilas is a softly coloured scenic damask with a pale lilac ground and finely drawn figures, urns and floral garlands. The pattern reads airy rather than heavy, with the cream scenes gently lifted by the mauve outline.

About this fabric
Woven in 100% Organic Cotton, Sansha Lilas has a width of approximately 140cm and a repeat of V 58cm / H 140cm approx, giving the design a broad, rhythmic spread across the cloth. The colourway is a muted lilac-mauve with washed cream highlights, so the scenic vignettes sit quietly against the ground instead of feeling stark. Fine linework and a small amount of tonal contrast keep the surface detailed but soft, with a lightly powdery finish that suits the romantic character of the design. The cloth’s balanced scale and organic cotton handle make it well suited to elegant window treatments, and it can also work for light decorative upholstery where a gentler look is wanted.
How to use it
Use Sansha Lilas with chalky whites, pale oak and antique silver for a fresh but refined room. Its cool lilac tone adds a discreet romantic note to bedrooms, dressing rooms or sitting rooms with soft daylight.
A pale lilac ground keeps the scenic damask light and graceful, ideal for elegant curtains or refined decorative upholstery.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sansha Lilas without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
