About this fabric

Woven in 56% cotton and 44% polyester, Alchemy Aubergine has a dry, lightly slubbed look that gives the solid colour extra depth. The 140cm width and 0cm pattern repeat make it a straightforward choice for measured cuts and cleaner joins. In this colourway, the aubergine tone reads as a dark plum with brown-black shadows in the folds, so it feels richer and less bright than a clear purple. The finish has enough movement in the sheen to suit statement soft furnishings without looking glossy.

How to use it

Use this aubergine shade to ground lighter interiors, especially alongside warm neutrals, smoked glass and dark wood. It brings a refined, slightly dramatic edge to sofas, cushions or curtains.
