Alchemy Cocoa

Alchemy Fabric

Alchemy Cocoa is a warm cocoa-brown fabric with a softly lustrous surface and visible natural slub. The folds in the swatch show a darker, shadowed depth that gives the colourway a rich, tailored feel.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a mellow brown with warm chocolate undertones, lifted slightly by a soft sheen across the surface. The woven texture is clearly visible in the light, with a subtle slub that stops the fabric from looking flat. Supplied as a 140cm-wide fabric in 56% cotton and 44% polyester, it has no pattern repeat, making the texture and colour the main visual features. The draped sample suggests a supple handle that can work well for seating, cushions, or curtains where you want a grounded neutral with more warmth than grey.

How to use it

Use Alchemy Cocoa to bring warmth to walnut woods, tan leather, and cream paintwork, where the brown tone can settle into a room without overpowering it. It also works well as a quieter contrast against brass accents and pale linens.

A warm cocoa tone that adds depth without feeling heavy, ideal for tailored upholstery or soft drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
