Idaho Wood

Idaho FabricL9400-04

Idaho Wood shows a rippling, woodgrain-like pattern in warm cocoa and sand tones. The woven surface gives the design a lively movement that reads earthy rather than heavy.

About this fabric

This Larsen fabric is woven in a 25% Wool, 22% Acrylic, 22% Polyester, 21% Viscose and 10% Cotton composition, with an approximate width of 144cm and a vertical repeat of 67cm and horizontal repeat of 72cm. The colourway combines deeper cocoa brown ground shades with lighter beige threads, so the zigzagging bands have a dry, striated look rather than a flat print effect. Its medium-weight feel and balanced construction make it suitable for either upholstery or drapery, depending on the finish you want. The overall impression is warm, tailored and quietly textural, with enough contrast in the weave to keep the pattern visible at a distance.

How to use it

Use Idaho Wood on a compact armchair, banquette or roman blind where the warm brown palette can sit against timber and caramel leather. It brings movement without shouting, especially in rooms with muted plaster, bronze or oatmeal accents.

Pairs well with tan leather, oak, and aged brass for a grounded, tailored look.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Idaho Wood without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
