Highland Linen

Idaho FabricL9402-03

Highland Linen reads as a softly warm beige with a dry, linen-like surface and a fine crosshatched weave. Its small-scale texture gives the colourway a calm, grounded look without appearing flat.

About this fabric

This Idaho fabric from Larsen has a compact woven character that feels crisp yet approachable, with the subtle irregularity of cotton and wool showing clearly in the surface. The colourway sits in a gentle beige range, lifted by pale cream highlights and a slightly heathered, natural-looking depth. At approximately 143cm wide, and composed of 46% Cotton, 40% Wool, 7% Acrylic, 6% Polyester and 1% Polyamide, it is a practical textile with a refined, understated finish. The repeat is very small at approximately V 1cm / H 1cm, which supports the low-key texture rather than a strong pattern effect. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Highland Linen on an armchair, banquette or curtains where a warm beige with visible weave will soften darker timbers and stone. It pairs especially well with oatmeal, tobacco and pale oak for a quietly tailored room.

A warm neutral that works beautifully across tailored upholstery and soft drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
