Highland Gull

Idaho FabricL9402-04

Highland Gull is a softly lit neutral with a fine, grid-like texture that reads calm and understated. Its stone-beige ground has a gentle warmth, lifted by tiny flecks of lighter yarn that give the surface quiet depth.

About this fabric

This Idaho fabric from Larsen has a neatly structured small-scale weave with a crisp, tactile look that suits both upholstery and drapery. The colourway sits in a soft stone beige range, with a muted, chalky cast rather than a strong yellow or grey undertone. Its 46% cotton and 40% wool content help give the cloth a natural, lightly nubbled handle, while the 143cm approximate width makes it practical for a wide range of schemes. The repeat is very subtle at approximately V 1cm / H 1cm, so the texture is felt more than seen, and the √BM fire code supports specification use.

How to use it

Use Highland Gull where you want a pale neutral that still feels tailored, such as a smart armchair, bench seat or relaxed curtains. It pairs especially well with oak, limestone, putty tones and darker accent timber, letting the fabric’s quiet woven texture do the work.

A refined pale neutral that brings quiet texture and a tailored feel to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
