Arno Gull reads as a quietly lustrous silver-grey, with a soft brushed look and a gently slubbed surface that catches the light. In the photo, the fabric falls in fluid vertical folds, giving the colourway a calm, airy presence.

About this fabric

Woven in a generous 320cm width, Arno Gull combines 51% alpaca, 35% linen, 9% merino and 5% polyester for a naturally textured handle. The visible surface has a fine horizontal striation and a softly irregular weave, which keeps the pale grey tone from feeling flat. Its vertical repeat is approximately 15cm, creating a subtle linear rhythm that shows up in the drape. The overall effect is cool and understated, with a light-reflective finish that feels refined rather than stark.

How to use it

Use this silver-grey colourway for full-height curtains, where the vertical repeat and soft sheen will read beautifully in daylight. It pairs especially well with chalk whites, putty tones and darker graphite accents.

A soft, airy neutral that layers easily with pale woods and deeper greys.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
