About this fabric

Canoa Sand from Larsen’s Nova collection is a wide fabric at approximately 295cm, with a repeat of V 88cm / H 74cm approx. Its composition of 37% jute, 22% cotton, 20% polyester, 11% linen and 10% viscose helps explain the natural, slightly rustic handle suggested by the visible slub and textural variation. In this colourway, the pattern reads as layered ribbons of pale ivory and beige, with a warm sandy ground peeking through the open areas. The overall effect is light and airy rather than heavy, but the pronounced surface texture gives it enough presence for upholstery or drapery where a statement natural look is wanted. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z are supplied for reference.

How to use it

Use Canoa Sand to soften timber, rattan and limestone interiors, where its warm beige notes echo natural materials without looking flat. It also works well against crisp white or pale taupe walls, letting the textured pattern bring movement into a calm room.

A soft neutral with textured movement that layers easily into calm, natural schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
