About this fabric

This colourway sits in a soft biscuit-to-sand range, with the tiny diagonal weave catching light to create a calm, lightly speckled finish. The fabric is 140cm wide approximately and woven in a substantial blend of 51% Cotton, 16% Polyester, 14% Viscose, 12% Linen and 7% Wool, which gives it a dry, tactile handle and a composed look. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it reads as a texture-led plain rather than a motif-led design, making the surface detail the focus. The tone is warm and muted rather than sharp or cool, so it feels easy to place alongside timber, stone and other natural finishes.

How to use it

Use Alder Sand on a sofa, armchair or dining banquette where you want a soft neutral that still shows texture up close. It also works well for curtains in rooms with pale walls, adding warmth without darkening the scheme.
