Bampton Old Blue

Bampton FabricF4888-04

Bampton Old Blue has a neat, repeating damask-style pattern that reads softly across the cloth. The washed blue motif sits against a pale cream ground, giving the design a calm, slightly vintage character.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a delicate, small-scale pattern in muted old blue with a gentle grey cast, set on a light ivory-cream background. The design feels crisp rather than bold, with the motif standing out just enough to give the surface rhythm without overpowering it. Woven in 34% Linen, 28% Viscose, 22% Polyester and 16% Cotton, it has a balanced handle that suits both upholstery and drapery applications. The 142cm approximate width and 12cm vertical by 36cm horizontal repeat make it practical for tailored furnishings where the pattern needs to be matched cleanly.

How to use it

Use it to bring a cool, restrained note to a country sitting room, especially on armchairs, headboards or blinds. The faded blue tone layers easily with chalk white, pale wood and silvered accents.

A quiet blue-and-cream pattern that works beautifully on elegant seating or lined curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
