Bampton Beige

Bampton FabricF4888-03

Bampton Beige shows a small, repeating damask pattern in a soft, warm beige with a lightly aged look. The motif reads crisp and decorative, but the overall effect stays quiet and easy to live with.

About this fabric

This colourway in the Bampton collection is woven in a 34% Linen, 28% Viscose, 22% Polyester, 16% Cotton blend, with a width of approximately 142cm and a repeat of V 12cm / H 36cm approx. The cloth has a refined, lightly textured surface that suits its compact damask motif, which appears in tonal beige and biscuit shades against a pale ground. The result is neither stark nor high-contrast: the pattern sits softly within the cloth, giving it a gentle depth rather than a bold decorative statement. With its smart but understated finish, Bampton Beige feels especially suitable where a traditional pattern is wanted in a calmer, more neutral register.

How to use it

Use Bampton Beige on a tailored armchair, dining chairs or curtains where the small-scale damask can read as texture from a distance. Its warm beige tone works well with oak, putty paint and natural linens for a restrained, layered interior.

A softly patterned beige that adds quiet detail without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
