About this fabric

Woven in 60% Linen and 40% Viscose, this check has a dry, natural look softened by the viscose’s subtle finish. The repeat is approximately V 18cm by H 15cm, giving the pattern a medium-scale rhythm that feels neat rather than bold. At around 140cm wide, it offers useful versatility for both curtains and upholstery where a relaxed but orderly pattern is wanted. The beige palette sits in a gentle warm range, with alternating lighter and slightly deeper squares that add depth without sharp contrast. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √CH are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Appledore Check Beige on a pair of Roman blinds, a tailored armchair, or a loose-covered sofa where the warm neutral check can sit quietly with timber, linen and painted finishes. Its muted beige depth works especially well in rooms that need pattern without visual weight.

A softly tailored neutral that brings warmth and easy structure to upholstered pieces or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Appledore Check Beige without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
