About this fabric

Marldon Pale Sand from the Albeck collection by Colefax and Fowler is a plain fabric with no repeat, making the tight woven texture the main visual feature. The colour is a soft, dry beige with a gentle greenish warmth, so it feels lighter and calmer than a deeper biscuit tone. Its composition of 57% viscose, 21% cotton, 12% linen and 10% polyester gives the cloth a slightly refined handle with a natural-looking surface. At approximately 145cm wide, it is a practical upholstery and drapery cloth for schemes that need an understated neutral with a little texture. The Q 8 < T 3 care code and √CH fire code are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this pale sand shade to soften pared-back upholstery, dining chairs or Roman blinds without adding visual weight. It pairs especially well with oak, chalky whites and darker bronze details for a calm, layered room.

A soft neutral that works neatly on tailored upholstery or simple curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
