About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted sea blue with a greyed, slightly mineral undertone rather than a bright coastal blue. The plain weave is visible across the surface, with the linen and cotton lending a natural, tactile grain and the viscose helping the shade look smooth and softly lifted. At approximately 145cm wide, and with a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm, it presents as a clean, non-directional fabric that is easy to pattern match. The composition of 57% viscose, 21% cotton, 12% linen and 10% polyester gives it a balanced handle that should suit a range of interior applications.

How to use it

Use it for tailored upholstery, cushion covers or relaxed curtains where the cool blue-grey can temper warmer woods and brass. It sits especially well alongside chalk white, pale oak and deeper navy accents.

A calm blue-grey that reads quietly tailored and works well across soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
