About this fabric

Woven in 60% linen and 40% viscose, this fabric has a dry, lightly textured handle that suits both upholstery and drapery uses. The check is set at roughly 18cm vertically by 15cm horizontally, giving the design a clear but not overpowering rhythm across the cloth. In this colourway, the blue sits in a muted slate tone against a pale natural ground, so the contrast feels calm rather than sharp. The linen content shows in the slightly slubby surface, while the viscose adds a smoother, more settled finish with a faint sheen in the light.

How to use it

Use it for relaxed armchairs, bench cushions or loose curtains where the soft blue check can bring structure without feeling formal. It pairs naturally with chalky whites, weathered oak and deeper navy accents.
