Georgia Blue

Ashdown FabricF4828-03

Georgia Blue in Ashdown pairs a pale ground with a delicate, scrolling leaf motif in soft slate blue and muted sage. The repeat reads airy and ordered, giving the design a calm, tailored look.

About this fabric

This Colefax and Fowler fabric is woven in a 54% cotton, 33% linen and 13% viscose blend, with a width of approximately 136cm and a repeat of V 24cm / H 23cm approx. The colourway combines a cool blue leaf detail with a soft grey-green stem and outline, so the pattern feels fresh rather than strong. On the pale background, the motif sits lightly and the finish has a quiet textile softness that suits refined interiors. With no performance features noted and a fire code of √BM, it presents as a decorative fabric rather than a hard-working upholstery textile.

How to use it

Use Georgia Blue for relaxed curtains, Roman blinds or a light upholstered accent where the small-scale pattern can add movement without overpowering the room. Its cool blue and muted green tones work especially well with white paintwork, pale oak and other chalky neutrals.

A fresh blue leaf trail on a pale ground; ideal for tailored curtains or a light decorative blind.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Georgia Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
