Roxam Dark Blue is a softly textured plain weave with a cool slate-blue ground and a subtle heathered finish. The surface reads calm and tailored, with tiny flecks of lighter yarn that lift the colour.

About this fabric

Woven in 38% Cotton, 36% Viscose, 21% Polyester and 5% Linen, Roxam Dark Blue has the balanced handle of a versatile upholstery fabric with enough refinement for drapery too. The 140cm approximate width and zero-repeat construction make it straightforward to use across larger pieces and continuous runs. In this colourway, the blue sits on the muted side of the spectrum: more slate than navy, with a soft grey cast that keeps it understated. The weave has a lightly nubby texture that catches the light without looking glossy, giving the fabric a quiet depth.

How to use it

Use this cool blue on a clean-lined sofa, dining chairs or relaxed curtains where its muted tone can sit alongside stone, chalk white and pale oak. It also works well as a grounding neutral in rooms with brushed metal or painted joinery.

A cool slate tone that feels refined and easy to pair with pale woods or crisp neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
