Snow Flower Slate Blue

Rousseau - Atmosphere VIII FabricJ0171-03

Snow Flower Slate Blue pairs a cool, misty ground with airy botanical motifs and fine, branching stems. The effect is light and elegant, with the pale flower forms standing out softly against the blue-grey linen.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this fabric has a naturally dry, breathable handle that suits the relaxed, tailored look of the design. The 136cm width and approximate 64cm vertical repeat / 68cm horizontal repeat make it practical for larger drops and measured pattern placement. In this colourway, the slate blue ground reads calm and slightly smoky rather than bright, giving the white floral outlines a crisp but gentle contrast. The tiny warm-toned centres and brownish stems add a subtle warmth that keeps the overall effect from feeling cold.

How to use it

Use it for curtains in rooms with pale timber, chalky paint, or soft grey upholstery to let the blue-grey ground feel serene and sophisticated. It also works well for light-softening Roman blinds where the repeating blossom motif can be seen in full.

The cool slate ground and delicate blossom detail suit tailored curtains or refined blinds.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Snow Flower Slate Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
