About this fabric

This Jane Churchill fabric is supplied in a 128cm approximate width and repeats vertically and horizontally at around 16cm, making the small-scale layout easy to plan across upholstery or curtains. The composition of 87% viscose, 7% polyester and 6% silk gives the surface a soft, lightly lustrous finish that suits the fabric’s refined, decorative feel. In this colourway, the midnight blue ground looks cool and shadowy, while the teal motifs and slim gold centres add a bright, jewel-like lift. The overall effect is smart rather than loud, with enough texture and sheen to keep the pattern visible as it catches the light. It carries a √BM fire code.

How to use it

Pair this midnight-and-gold colourway with walnut, brass and smoked glass for a tailored scheme. It also works well with pale plaster walls or deep navy paint, where the teal motif can stand out cleanly.

Use for tailored upholstery or elegant curtains to bring depth and a subtle metallic lift.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
