About this fabric

This fabric from Jane Churchill’s Rousseau - Atmosphere VIII collection is a 129cm-wide textile with a vertical repeat of 77cm in a half-drop and an approximate horizontal repeat of 86cm. The blend of 36% viscose, 30% cotton, 26% linen and 8% polyester helps create the gently crisp, lightly textured ground visible in the image. In Lila Blue, the background reads as a cool charcoal-slate blue rather than a bright navy, which lets the pale leaf forms stand out clearly. The tiny turquoise touches add a subtle reflective note, while the overall effect remains calm, layered and elegant.

How to use it

Use Lila Blue where you want a composed, cool-toned pattern that still feels decorative, such as curtains or occasional upholstery. It sits especially well with pale oak, brushed metal and chalky neutrals, which keep the slate ground looking crisp.
