About this fabric

Lanata Emerald from Jane Churchill’s Rousseau - Atmosphere VIII collection is woven in a 47% cotton, 29% viscose and 24% polyester blend, with a width of approximately 126cm and a repeat of V 38cm / H 63cm approx. The colourway combines vivid teal-blue greens with olive, khaki and warm neutral threads, so the overall effect is energetic but grounded rather than bright. In the image, the irregular horizontal striations read like painterly strokes, and the slightly slubby texture adds a tactile, slightly rustic quality. With its balanced body and decorative surface, it is well suited to upholstery, especially for statement seating that benefits from pattern and colour.

How to use it

This emerald colourway works well on an accent chair, bench or ottoman where its layered greens can echo houseplants and dark timber. Pair it with brass accents, warm oak and plain linens to let the teal and olive notes stand out.
