About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Alaska Emerald is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 45,000 severe contract rub test and a 146cm width. The cloth has a smooth, close plain weave that gives the surface a gently matte appearance rather than a shiny finish. In this colourway the emerald tone is dark and composed, with a slightly blue-green cast that looks richer in the darker areas and softer where the light catches it. At 438 grams per linear metre / 300 grams per square metre, it feels substantial enough for hard-working schemes while still suitable for curtains.

How to use it

Use this shade to add depth against pale timber, brass, or stone, where its cool emerald tone can act as a tailored anchor. It also works well in layered schemes with moss, charcoal, and warm neutrals.

A rich emerald plain that brings depth to tailored upholstery or drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
