About this fabric

From Ashley Wilde’s Darwin Collection, Austen Emerald is specified as 90% Recycled Polyester and 10% Polyester, woven to 140cm wide and supplied as a drapes-only fabric. The cloth shows a fine, linear weave with a soft directional grain across the surface, giving the colour a calm, refined movement rather than a flat finish. At 200gsm and 280g per linear metre, it has enough body to hang neatly while still feeling suited to window dressing rather than upholstery. The emerald tone here sits on the darker side of green, with a muted, woodland depth that reads smart and composed in changing light.

How to use it

Use this shade for floor-length curtains where you want a deeper green to frame a room without feeling flashy. It works especially well beside warm woods, brass, stone, and oatmeal fabrics, where the cool-leaning green adds contrast.

A rich, low-sheen green that brings depth to tailored curtains and softens light beautifully.
