Austen Graphite is a sleek, low-key plain with a deep graphite finish and a fine horizontal striation visible across the surface. The colour sits in a cool, dark grey range that feels crisp rather than black.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a dense graphite grey ground with subtle tonal movement, giving the cloth a refined, lightly brushed appearance rather than a flat solid. The fabric is supplied as drapes only, with a width of 140cm and a weight of 280gsm, so it has enough substance to hang neatly while still reading as a textile with soft movement. Its 90% recycled polyester and 10% polyester composition supports a clean, practical finish, and the plain design with no pattern repeat keeps the look calm and contemporary. The surface catches the light in fine horizontal lines, adding quiet texture to an otherwise pared-back colourway.

How to use it

Use Austen Graphite for tailored curtains, interlining it where you want a fuller, more architectural fold. Its cool dark tone pairs especially well with pale walls, blackened metals and pale oak.

A restrained graphite plain that works well for tailored, contemporary curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
