Austen Jade

Darwin Collection FabricAUSTEN

Austen Jade is a softly textured plain with a calm jade-green surface and a subtle, horizontal strié effect in the weave. The colour reads cool and muted, with a gentle depth that keeps it feeling refined rather than vivid.

About this fabric

Woven in 90% Recycled Polyester and 10% Polyester, this Ashley Wilde fabric is specified for drapes only and has a width of 140cm. At 200gsm and 280 grams per linear metre, it has enough substance to hang with presence while still looking fluid across the surface. The plain style is lifted by the fine, linear texture visible in the cloth, which gives the jade tone a quiet movement and a slightly brushed appearance. Its cool green shading feels understated and versatile, making it a good choice where colour is wanted without introducing pattern.

How to use it

Use Austen Jade for curtains in rooms with pale oak, warm white or stone finishes, where its muted green will bring a fresh but settled note. It also suits layered schemes with natural linens and soft metallic accents.

A calm jade tone that works beautifully for tailored curtains and soft, layered schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
