About this fabric

From Ashley Wilde’s Darwin Collection, Austen Dove is specified as a drapes-only fabric in 90% recycled polyester and 10% polyester. The cloth has a plain, finely textured appearance with no visible pattern repeat, and the 140cm width makes it straightforward for curtain-making. At 200gsm and 280 grams per linear metre, it reads as a substantial drapery cloth rather than a featherlight sheer. The colour is a pale, misty grey with a slightly cool undertone, giving the surface a soft, chalky freshness in daylight.

How to use it

Use this dove grey for floor-length curtains, relaxed Roman blinds or layered sheers where you want a calm, modern neutral. It pairs especially well with white woodwork, pale oak and deeper charcoal accents.
