About this fabric

This substantial 510gsm fabric has a finely ribbed woven surface that gives the dove-grey ground gentle tonal variation as the light moves across it. The pattern is formed by sinuous linked curves edged with closely spaced rounded dots, creating a medium-scale repeat without a strong contrast. With a 137cm usable width and a 40m standard length, it is supplied in a practical format for upholstery projects. The vertical repeat is 24cm and the horizontal repeat is 21.6cm, allowing the looping motif to read consistently across a piece.

How to use it

Use Layton Dove on a tailored sofa, dining chair or upholstered headboard where its cool grey tone can sit comfortably with chalky whites, pale woods and muted taupes. The dotted looping lines add measured movement to an otherwise restrained neutral scheme.
