About this wallpaper

The design has a pronounced symmetrical rhythm, with dark charcoal motifs framed by pale taupe and cream passages that resemble fluid, stone-like movement. Subtle tonal variation across the image keeps the charcoal from reading as flat black, while the lighter areas give the colourway a muted, atmospheric depth. This wallpaper has a 52 cm usable width and a 52 cm vertical pattern repeat, with no horizontal repeat specified. Each standard length is 10.05 m and the supplied weight is 150 gsm.

How to use it

Use Aqueous Charcoal on a feature wall where its cool charcoal depth can anchor lighter furnishings, warm timber and brushed metal. The taupe and cream detailing also offers gentle contrast against softer neutral upholstery and flooring.

Use the cool charcoal, taupe and cream palette to add depth to a contemporary or softly traditional room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Aqueous Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
