About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille has a close, textured appearance with subtle variations between charcoal grey and warm taupe. The restrained tonal movement is visible across the surface rather than forming a printed motif, giving the colourway a quietly substantial look on upholstery. It is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery and is machine washable. The fabric meets Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use BEL1990 on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its charcoal-taupe tone can anchor softer neutrals, warm timber and brushed metal. The mottled surface is especially effective on larger upholstered forms because it softens the depth of the dark grey without introducing a visible pattern.
