About this fabric

The close weave combines warm beige, taupe and soft grey threads, creating a natural-looking faux-linen texture rather than a flat solid colour. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide, BAC1237 is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable, and its flame retardancy is rated for Domestic Cig & Match, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade. The restrained colour and lightly irregular weave give this fabric a relaxed, quietly tailored appearance.

How to use it

Use this warm greige colourway on sofas, dining seats or upholstered headboards where its taupe-grey neutrality can soften darker timber and contrast with cream, charcoal or muted earthy accents. Its plain woven surface also works well for cushions that need texture without introducing a visible pattern.

A warm greige upholstery cloth that suits relaxed seating, headboards and tailored cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
