About this fabric

Bergamo is a close, nubby chenille with a finely patterned, almost basket-like surface rather than a printed motif. In this colourway, warm ivory, stone taupe and cool grey threads mingle into a quiet, lightly flecked neutral; the small weave gives the surface gentle depth as it catches the light. Made from 100% polyester and 138cm wide, it is rated for domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and carries Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use this taupe-grey colourway on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its finely mottled weave can soften a room without introducing a strong pattern. Pair it with warm ivory, pale timber and muted blue-grey accents to bring out the cooler threads in the texture.
