Beauly Granite is a finely textured wool with a quiet taupe-grey granite tone. Its closely spaced herringbone lines create a subtle, softly mottled surface rather than a bold pattern.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% wool, this 150 cm-wide fabric shows a compact broken-chevron weave in layered grey, taupe and charcoal flecks. The small-scale herringbone catches the light along its diagonal ridges, giving the otherwise muted shade gentle depth. With a 20,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Aftercare is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Beauly Granite to upholster a tailored armchair, headboard or sofa where its cool, grounded taupe-grey can temper warmer timber and leather. It also makes understated curtains or a bedspread, allowing the fine herringbone texture to provide interest without dominating the room.
