Faze Fabric

Faze Pumice has a muted taupe-grey tone with a softly mottled surface that gives the plain ground gentle tonal depth. Its close, even texture reads calm and understated in the swatch.

About this fabric

The colour sits between warm grey and soft brown, with a pumice-like neutrality rather than a crisp or cool grey cast. Fine tonal variation moves across the surface, creating a low-contrast, slightly weathered effect without a distinct motif. The compact texture gives the fabric a considered, quietly tailored appearance suited to upholstered forms. In changing light, the subtle shifts in the taupe-grey ground help prevent the plain design from looking flat.

How to use it

Use Faze Pumice on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its warm taupe-grey tone can soften darker timber and balance creamy, stone or charcoal furnishings. Keep surrounding patterns restrained so the fabric’s fine tonal variation remains visible.

A quietly textured taupe-grey upholstery fabric that brings depth without introducing a visible pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
