About this fabric

This substantial 650 gsm fabric is suited to upholstery, with a dense-looking surface formed by broken vertical striations and fine horizontal crossings. The warm hazelnut tone reads as taupe-grey in the swatch, while darker charcoal threads give the weave definition and a gently distressed, textile-like character. Its pattern repeat measures 16.5 cm vertically and 1.7 cm horizontally, keeping the linear rhythm compact across a chair, sofa or ottoman. The fabric has a 140 cm usable width, a 30 m standard length and a listed density of 45 threads per cm.

How to use it

Pair Osamu Hazelnut with warm timber, aged leather and soft ivory accents to bring out its earthy taupe cast. On a tailored sofa or occasional chair, the charcoal linear texture can provide subtle contrast without overpowering a restrained neutral scheme.
