About this fabric

The dense surface combines closely spaced vertical lines with uneven horizontal bars, creating a softly weathered check rather than a precise geometric pattern. At 650 gsm and 45 threads per cm, its supplied specification supports the substantial appearance of this tightly woven textile. The 140 cm usable width is paired with a 16.5 cm vertical repeat and a very narrow 1.7 cm horizontal repeat. Supplied in a standard 30 m length, Osamu Treacle offers a dark, patterned foundation for upholstery where depth and visual texture are wanted.

How to use it

Use Osamu Treacle on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard, balancing its charcoal-brown depth with warm wood, aged metal and lighter natural textiles. The fine broken grid can also add quiet structure to a darker, tailored scheme without introducing a bright accent colour.
